Our Services

Our clinic specialises in the provision of fixed and removable dental prosthesis to replace missing teeth.

Extraction of a permanent tooth is necessary when a tooth is no longer salvageable. Dentures, commonly referred to as “false teeth” are made to replace missing natural teeth. It can be made of plastic or a combination of metal and plastic. A partial denture is used to replace a few missing teeth, whereas a full denture is used to replace an entire dentition within the same jaw.

A dental bridge is a fixed denture that replaces missing teeth by using adjacent teeth for support.

Why Missing Teeth matters!

Missing teeth results in aesthetic and functional challenges. It may cause a person to be self conscious, experience speech or chewing difficulties. If the missing teeth are not replaced, it often results in unwanted over-eruption of the opposing tooth, tipping of adjacent teeth into its space and loss of lip support due to the atrophy of the supporting jaw bone.

Why patients prefer dentures.

Compared to dental implants, dentures are more affordable and does not require surgery.

Am I suitable for dentures?

Removable dentures are a satisfactory temporary solution if you have a prominent gum ridge to support and stabilize the denture.

Fixed dental bridges are suitable long term solution if there are remaining healthy teeth that are spaced not too far apart to support it.

Are there any risks?

Dentures are safe for everyday use when they are properly fabricated and cared for. Avoid using broken dentures or loose dentures as there is a risk of choking on them or hurting one self.

Like natural teeth, dental bridges need to be maintained with good personal and professional oral care. Abusing your teeth by chewing on very hard food or using your teeth to open packaging  may result in fracture of the dental bridge. People who have a grinding habits would need to use night guard during sleep to protect their investment.

What are the charges?

First consultation charges start from $100. The average fees of a dental bridge is $2400. Dentures start from $350. The actual cost varies between people depending on the number of missing teeth and type of treatment. Your dentists will explain the cost involved in your treatment once a comprehensive assessment of your condition has been performed.

We are accredited providers for the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS). Pioneer Generation and Health Assist card holders can use their benefits at our clinic. Most insurers and employers would extend their coverage to include the replacement of missing teeth.
